I like David Beckham but he shouldnt have been starting. The squad selection of S.G.E. was the main reason for England not going further. He will get some serious criticism in the papers. Rightfully so. Why was Walcott there? Why was Jenas there? Why wasn't Defoe there?

dude, i have to agree with you, but defoe isn't a better striker than d.bent, i know defoe's from tottenham and their different strikers but d.bent so shud've been on the england team!... btw, how was you're visit to the uk? shame i didn't get a chance to see you,

Yah, Lennon is a quality player, been developing well, improving his final ball and learning to use his pace. Definitely one to watch.
I think D.Bent, although he scored a hat full of goals, was a bit of a one trick pony last season, just learned to beat the off side trap better than anyone else, use pace to get behind defenses and score. I don't think he's on the same level as Defoe, But you're right, a spurs fan would say that!
I'm lookin forward to Defoe havin a better season now te pressure's off.
