-thank God-

Do you ever have moments when, going about your daily bussiness, you suddenly find yourself taken short, thinking something like - here I am, . . a man, walking about under the sky. . . .doing things.-

The cool weather in HK lately has been making for some stunning skies. Today, a thin sheet of 'goosewing' clouds (my granny calls them) is thick enough to take the bite off the sun and circle it with a faint rainbow. Nearer the horizon is a broad strip of the kind of deep blue that reminds you that your home is in heaven, and I'm having one of these 'moments' stretched out into a day. Just listening to music, enjoying the creature feeling.

I know a person who, while not a Christian (i think) is living within the boundaries of God's grace because she sometimes tells me things that surprise me, make my heart jump and a 'thank God' almost burst out of my mouth.
I am a seriously terrible Christian, but as a walk around under the sky today, I think I know that He's in the bussiness of rescuing people and will resolve even the most Godless mess we can get ourselves in.

Thank God.
Thank God.
