The first Typhoon of the 2006 season is hooking its way into the South Chin Sea. Its a severe tropical storm at the moment, but when it gets out into open water its predicted to build into a Typhoon (hurricaine)

I can remember when Typhoon Imbudo passed in 2003 or 4. It had a double eye wall and passed pretty much overhead. It really is something. The wind falls off, then there's stillness for 10 minutes, then you're hit from the opposite direction increadible violent wind. Nothing like it in the UK, although I was in Brighton when it had its only tornado!!

Places like Japan and HK rarely suffer casualties.There's a warning system and buildings are well built (mostly)

The models predict landfall somewhere close to HK for this one, called Chanchu. I am starting to get excited already. Silly I know.

I will be there soon. I am at home in HK now, It's half past Johnathan, and I'm just thinking about what I'll be doing for two weeks july august time, back in the bosom of my ancestors. Not literally of course although I may well be embraced on account of the fact I havent been back for two years.

I'll be national expressing my way up and down smelling fresh air and drinking real milk as I go and look around at the hundreds of whitefolks, feeling chinese.
I'll go walking through Lady Cannings Pine plantation just outside sheffield, accross Burbage Moor to Fox house, Have a Drink and catch the bus down Ecclesall Road south, back into sheffield.
I'll Sit in the Lady Chapel in the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool and Pray.
I'll sit in the Crypt of the Sheffield Anglican Cathedral and pray a bit more.
I'll walk along the promenade in Brighton, smell the Ozone, listen to the sea gulls.
I'm going to pick the bogeys out my cat's nose.
I'm going to play fight with my brother.
I'm going to go to Sheffield Chinese Christian Church and see who I can recognise.
I'm going stay with my best friend in Manchester.
I'm going to catch up with some dear brothers and sister in different parts of the country.
I'm going to go the Spurs Shop and White Heart lane to catch a pre season friendly.
I'm going to see my sister's two year old!
I'm going to see cousins, uncles and aunties, aswell as grandparents.
I'm going to visit my mum and get covered in animal hairs.

Then I'm going to come back to HK and start a new contract.

Well, its over.

The 2005-06 season finishes with some disappointment and controversy for Tottenham. Our food poisoned team didn't manage to do better than Arsenal in their last game. We finish 5th, after being 4th for 6 months.

Its only hard to take because its Arsenal, and West Ham that have ended our Champion's league dream. Two London teams taking great pleasure in forcing another London team out of the Top four.

Oh well, never mind. yuwafer cup next year.
